Do you know how to set boundaries? Do you know WHAT your own boundaries are? Do you often say ‘yes’ when you mean ‘no’?
We learn boundaries as we are growing up, and then as adults we each have to develop what works for us as an evolving individual. What are your values? Do your boundaries reflect these values?
Anna and Sarri both share personal stories and the truth that sometimes stating boundaries may NOT get approval from others. We struggle to speak up when fear of judgement comes in.
When creating boundaries you also need to let go of the stories you create around how OTHER people perceive you. You are not responsible for other people’s opinions of you, you also cannot know what others are thinking. Assuming the worst scenario in your mind creates a place for the fear to grow!
When setting a boundary it is NOT about other people, ‘I want people to behave a certain way’ …. it’s about what YOU can control, and ways that make you feel more at peace.
Are you struggling to connect to your truth? Do you feel guilt around boundaries?
