CALM AND CONNECTED
Emotion Regulation for Parents and Kids
6-week program for conscious moms and dads who want to raise emotionally healthy children.
Do you want to raise emotionally healthy children?
Children who can name and handle their feelings… who are allowed to feel all of them—yes, even the hard ones. Children who grow into compassionate, resilient, empathetic humans who don’t bottle things up, shut down, or explode in anger.
Here’s what I know from over 20 years of working with families:
The very skill parents most want to teach their children is the one they often need themselves—emotional regulation.
But let’s be honest, it’s not easy. And here’s why:
-
Most of us were never taught how. Self-regulation is a learned skill, not something we magically know.
-
Many of us didn’t have good role models. Patterns of reactive parenting get passed down from generation to generation.
-
And most of us are exhausted. Parenting today is overwhelming—41% of U.S. parents say they feel unable to function, and nearly half report burnout.
The good news? Emotional regulation can be learned, practiced, and mastered—by you and your child. And that’s exactly what this workshop is designed to help you do.

Meet Me
I’m Anna Seewald, a psychologist, educator, and parent coach. I host the popular Authentic Parenting podcast, speak at conferences, and lead workshops for parents around the world. And like you, I’m also a mom (to a teenager).
I’m often referred to as the “burnout expert.” I’ve been featured in conversations on parental stress and burnout, most recently in Parents Signed up for Classroom Updates. They Got Digital Burnout Instead (Yahoo) and Parents Are Not OK Right Now. Here’s What They Can Do (CNN).
But beyond credentials and titles, here’s what drives me: my mission is ending violence against children. Because if we can raise children who feel safe, seen, and supported, we can create a kinder, more compassionate, and more peaceful world. That’s why I dedicate my work to supporting parents—helping them grow so they can raise emotionally healthy kids.
