This is an On Air Coaching call with Lauren a mother of two girls ages 3 years old and 7 months. Lauren is one of the listeners of the Authentic Parenting podcast and member of the Authentic Parenting Community. I help her generate some new ideas and tips with her current challenges. She is in a new phase of motherhood. Lauren is trying to find balance of being a mom of two. She is a stay at home mom and she does have a support system. while having family is great, there are also a lot of dynamics that she needs to navigate. This creates a lot of unnecessary anxiety in her and I offer her a simple, yet powerful question to help her in creating a boundary.
Her 3 year old daughter started having sleepovers at Grandma. When she comes back home she usually displays big feelings. Separation is hard on Lauren too. Her 7 month old has become very mobile. As a result she gets into her older sister’s things. Sometimes she destroys her sister’s precious artwork. I help Lauren to find a solution with this.
