From Heartbreak to Wholeness

We all suffer heartbreak of some kind-loss of a loved one, divorce, illness, loss of a job or home and seek to understand why these losses and traumas happened to us and how we’ll make it through in one piece.

Whatever the form, loss leaves us heartbroken, vulnerable raw and in fear of the unknown.

Sometimes the healing is quick and sometimes it takes weeks, months or years.

In the face of adversity and loss, we all fall down, but it’s how you get up and stand and step forward that reveals who you are.

Which path you choose boils down to one question:

Are you going to be a victim?

Or are you going to be a hero?

In today’s episode I am speaking with Kristine Carlson. After the unexpected loss of her husband, she resolved to find hope in the midst of heartache. As she recovered, she ultimately discovered a new dream and a life filled with passion.

 

In her new book From Heartbreak To Wholeness: The Hero’s Journey to Joy she shares her personal journey of loss, healing and transformation. She lays out a map to help the reader to take the hero’s journey to recovery and awaken a deep love affair with life.
