Maureen Healy is an award-winning author, speaker and expert on children’s emotional health (especially our sensitive ones). Her latest book, The Emotionally Healthy Child, has a preface by the Dalai Lama and is often bought with Growing Happy Kids, which won multiple awards. She also is a child development expert at Psychology Today, which has reached millions of parents worldwide.
With more than 15 years of global experience, Maureen continues to work with parents and children directly. Currently, she runs a mentoring program for highly sensitive children (link) and is a resource to parents globally. Sharon Salzberg, best-selling author said: “Maureen offers wise and practical strategies for adults who hope to guide children toward a lifetime of confidence and true happiness.”
Maureen’s traditional educational credentials include a BA in Psychology and MBA from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She also completed her doctoral coursework in Child Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University, which is based in Santa Barbara, California. As an avid learner and teacher, Maureen seeks to grow from every person she meets and experience she has. “Life is never boring” she says.
