Self-talk is often skewed towards the negative, and sometimes it’s just plain wrong. What does your inner critic say to you often?
You can test, challenge and change your negative self-talk. In this episode I invite you to take a challenge to do just that. Are you ready?
When you find yourself criticizing, judging, speaking to yourself negatively, turn around and say something positive, in fact the opposite of the negative sentence. I invite you to take this challenge for a week. When you catch yourself, pause, note and translate that negative sentence into its opposite.
Are you beating yourself up? Do mommy guilt, self-doubt, fear creep in from time to time and cloud your thinking? Do you question the parenting choices and decisions you make?
How about pressure? Do you put unnecessary pressure upon yourself?
Do you give yourself credit for the hard work of parenting?
