If we don’t let our kids fail, make mistakes, they will not learn to bounce back. As hard as it may be, we need to stop rescuing our kids.
We shouldn’t get into our kids business, try to fix things for them, deny them their experience, replace a broken toy, replace a lost item, solve their problems for them, do things for them. In doing so we take away the opportunity for them to be responsible and autonomous and have a chance to solve their own problems. their ability to
Our job is not to make our kids happy at all times. We need to give them time and space for them to process their feelings. When we do that kids become resourceful and solve their own problems.
