The Authentic Parenting Conference is an educational event that brings the Authentic Parenting Community, the podcast and the general audience together to connect, learn and elevate their skills. Focusing on attuning to our emotions, becoming present, calm and less reactive, so that we can listen to our children's big feelings. With fun, interactive, group activities, role plays, panel discussions, public art making and amazing keynote delivery, this event will nourish your soul, feed your mind and uplift your spirit!

In this one day LIVE conference you will discover:

In the second part of our conference we'll focus on how children's emotions work. You'll learn powerful skills, science-based, effective tools to create emotional safety & support your children when they cry, throw a tantrum, whine or have a meltdown. You won't be puzzled anymore wondering:

Anna Seewald, M.Ed, founder of Authentic Parenting
Anna Seewald, M.Ed is a Parent Educator, Keynote Speaker, Author and Host of The Authentic Parenting Podcast. With background in psychology and education, working with children for 18 years, today she helps conscious moms and dads to become calm and connected to themselves and their children through trauma-informed education. She believes in helping children by helping parents. She has a private practice that specializes in parent education, where she provides one-on-one parent coaching, parenting, court ordered, and co-parenting classes.

Dr. Laura Markham
Dr. Laura Markham is the author of Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids: How To Stop Yelling and Start Connecting, Peaceful Parent, Happy Siblings: How To Stop the Fighting and Raise Friends for Life, and now her latest book, The Peaceful Parent, Happy Kids Workbook: Using mindfulness and connection to raise resilient, joyful children and rediscover your love of parenting.
Dr. Laura Markham earned her PhD in clinical psychology at Columbia University and has worked as a parenting coach with countless families across the world. Over 130,000 moms and dads enjoy Dr. Laura’s free weekly coaching posts via email. You can sign up on any page of her website, AhaParenting.com, which serves up Aha! Moments for parents of babies through teens. Dr. Laura’s aspiration is to change the world, one child at a time, by supporting parents. The proud mother of two thriving young adults who were raised with her peaceful parenting approach, she lives with her husband in New York.

Laura Froyen, PhD
Dr. Laura Froyen has PhD in Human Development and Family Studies with a specialization in Couple and Family Therapy. She is a peaceful parenting and respectful relationship coach and a self-compassion advocate. Laura helps parents get clear on their goals and values so they can begin prioritizing the things and people that truly matter and begin living in alignment with their deeper purpose. She helps them gain a deeper understanding of relational dynamics that they can use to achieve greater harmony and flow within their family. She teaches them to explore their deepest hopes and dreams for their children with honesty, curiosity, and vulnerability so they can intuitively know how to parent in the way that is right for them with complete confidence.
Laura empowers them to let go of expectations and perfectionism, stop being weighed down by comparison, and find freedom and joy so they can show up in their lives and their relationships with open-hearted authenticity and balance.
Kristy Lauricella has taught writing to children, teens, and adults for the past 20 years. She facilitates professional development, writing workshops, and retreats locally and nationally. Kristy is currently a Masters in Social Work candidate at Rutgers University. She is also a certified health coach, birth doula, and childbirth educator.
Kari Gormley, APPC, CAPP
Kari Gormley is an indefatigable catalyst who empowers people to create energy and action in their lives. As a facilitator, certified Bounce Back Better trainer, applied positive psychology coach and speaker, Kari works with individuals and organizations to discover, promote, and support them at their best. She believes that people can flourish through more meaningful relationships and by being their own “Chief Energy Officers”.
Kari is the host of “The Running Lifestyle Show,” a podcast devoted to creating a way of life for the long run. She lives in Wilmington, DE, with her husband, grade-school-aged son, and her son’s bearded dragon.
